I came to Jennings for the 2022-2023 school year and taught 2^nd Grade. This year, 2023-2024, I am teaching 1^st! 

Prior to working for Jennings Public Schools, I taught at Cleveland Public Schools, Prue Public Schools, and taught for UCAP Head Start and Early Head Start. I have taught preschool, Pre-K, and 2^nd grade. In addition to teaching, I have been in charge of many youth leadership camps for cheerleading and have attended many kids camps and youth camps as a sponsor. I also spent some time in Africa in an orphanage working with the kids that lived there as well as teaching VBS classes to children in the villages. I have worked in our church youth group and children’s church as a sponsor, leader, and also a Sunday school teacher as well. 

My husband Clint and I have been married for 6 years as of July 2023. Clint is a police officer. We both went to Cleveland Public Schools but actually didn’t know one another growing up! We have a dog named Ruby. She is a Shorkie. We are currently working on building a home on my family’s farm around the Blackburn area. My husband was also raised as a farm kid and both of our families are in the cattle business.
